The Jungle Scout Academy course was launched in 2019 and was set up to help subscribers to the Jungle Scout web app make the most of its features by teaching them how to use each tool.

There’s great, responsive customer support if you encounter a problem that you can’t solve.
As part of your subscription, you get access to an extensive supplier database, allowing you to search for the right supplier to grow your selling opportunities, whatever your niche.
The Jungle Scout extension is industry leading and makes selling from your product database on Amazon much more intuitive.
There are no hidden costs — once you’re a subscriber, all the features in your membership are free to use.
Cons
Unlike some alternatives, you don’t get a free trial with Jungle Scout, although you are offered a 7-day money back guarantee if you decide you don’t like the service within the first 7 days.
While there is a Jungle Scout chrome extension, there isn’t a mobile app, which can be a pain if you want to track your sales performance while you’re on holiday or on the go.
Unless you benefit from one of the Jungle Scout offers, the price per month of a subscription is a little higher than some competitors, so you need to know that you’re making full use of its features if you want to get value for money.
If you intend to sell thousands of products, the inventory management system can become a little cumbersome.

Alternatives
Jungle Scout is not the only programme out there to teach you how to sell on Amazon. Here are some of the main competitors to Jungle Scout.
Freedom Ticket – Helium 10
Helium 10 is an Amazon sellers tool that comes with over 10 different tools. It has some great features including a product tracker, a keyword rank tracker and a powerful Chrome extension tool. Each of the paid plans come with a free training course called Freedom ticket, originally run by Amazon legend Kevin King.
However, it does lack some of the features of Jungle Scout, including an opportunity score, and extensive pricing data.
Private Label Masters – Tim Sanders
An alternative Amazon FBA training course is Tim Sanders’ Private Label Masters. This course offers you all the tips you need to maximise your sales on Amazon, and includes a number of updates for 2024. Sanders himself runs a Facebook support group for trainees, and is active in it replying regularly to questions and problems posed by trainees and offering them tips and advice.
However, this course does not offer you any information on building a supplier database, and the Chrome extension produced by Sanders does not appear to work in all cases.
